Guangzhou Pearl River Cruise User Review

“Don’t spend more than you need to”

We arrived at one of the docks on the river and proceeded to buy tickets. There were a lot of people around and we felt rushed. Pointed at a time on a piece of paper but ended up paying for third floor. This is an unnecessary expense as anyone can go to the top floor. The only plus is that you get a seat but I stood the whole time taking pics anyway.

“Awesome river cruise!”

Guangzhou is awesome during nighttime, and the best way to experience it would be to do a river cruise and visit the Canton Tower. The colorful lights on several buildings and bridges are really amazing.

We did a river cruise for about one hour. Absolutely worth paying a bit extra so you get access to the upper floor of the boats. Highly recommended trip!

The snack food we got given was disgusting. Damp banana chips, sour fruit etc.

The actual cruise was really awesome though. Take a sweater as the wind can get a bit chilly.

Take your time buying tickets and you will have an affordable, fun time.
