Su Dongpo was a famous poet of Song Dynasty, he had a close friend monk Fo Yin. They would often talk about Buddism and literature. However Su Dongpo did not feel well, because his friend always won the discussion.
Chinese Wisdom Story--Your Internal and External World
One day, Su Dongpo asked Fo Yin ,
“What do I look like?”
–”A Buddha,”his monk friend answered. Dongpo was pleased.
Fo Yin asked the same,
“What do I look like?”
Dongpo answered excitingly,
“A heap of cow dung.”

When Su Dongpo went back home and told his sister, who was also famous poet, the story happily that day. His sister laughed,
“Brother, you lost again. Master Fo Yin sees everything in his world as Buddha, because his heart is full of Buddha…”
