I have a non-gmail email account which is receiving Google alerts daily, I do not want to receive these alerts any more.

I tried to log on google with my non-gmail account, but it appears the account has never been associated with any of google service or products thus I can’t log on Google to delete or manage my Google alerts.

I must have set google alerts forwardded from a google email account or non gmail account, as Google allows transfer Google Alerts to non Gmail email address. The problem is I can not remember which email account I used to sign up for the specifc google alerts.

The Alert is an old one, set up about a year ago, whether I set it up using a gmail account or non-Gmail email account I can’t remeber either.

I am not logged in to any Google accounts I have when I try to remove the Alert. It just tells me I have no Alerts.

It is a serious mechanical problem with the Google’s Alert engine, because Google should allow users to remove or disable the alerts in each alert email they send, even the email recipient does not have the google account login or simply forget which account they signed up for the alerts.

Google alerts transfer is very useful, it is designed for users’ convenience. However if google provides no way to cancel a alerts transfer, it is REALLY annoying!!

  1. I was having this same issue… it turns out I just forgot my password associated with my non-Gmail email address. Fortunately I was able to remember it after several guesses, and was then able to manage all the alerts I have. Maybe try using your non-Gmail email that is receiving the unwanted Google Alert(s) as the username, and try your darnedest to figure out the PW you used. Good luck!
