A poor man was invited to a dinner party by one rich relative. It was on a winter night, but the poor had no fur coat, he had to put on thin clothes. Being afraid to be laughed at by others, the poor man brought a fan with him.
“I cann’t bear the heat even in winter by nature” he said.
The rich host knew the poor guest well, he decided to make a joke on him. That night, he accommodated the poor some room by a pond with only thin blanket and bamboo pillow.
At the midnight, the poor guest can no longer stand the cold even wrapped him tightly with the blanket. He got up and kept walking near the pond to keep warm. Accidentally he slipped down and fell into the water. Those guests waked up by the big sound came out to have a look.
“You see, I am so intensely afraid of heat, I cann’t resist the temptation of taking a cold shower.” explained the poor guest.
